DO MY SOLAR PANELS NEED TO BE REMOVED TO INSTALL A NEW ROOF ?
Generally, yes! Most solar panels are either bolted, and or mounted into the existing roofing material. They are also charged with a type of antifreeze. They will have to be removed by a licensed plumber to insure that they are removed and re-installed properly.
CAN I INSTALL A NEW ROOF OVER THE EXISTING ROOF ?
NO! This is not only against our company policy but not at all a good idea in Florida with the hurricanes and extremely hot and humid weather that we have.
